This initiative has attracted significant attention from international guests, with about 70% of test drivers between January and June 2025 coming from overseas.
To further meet the needs of international car enthusiasts—who seek authentic Japanese driving experiences but may feel anxious about unfamiliar traffic rules and language barriers—the hotel has launched a new activity in partnership with **Gift Life Inc.**: a guided driving tour with trilingual staff (Japanese, English, French).

Gift Life has a proven track record in providing private guided tours for this clientele.
For this program, experienced Gift Life staff lead the tour in a guide car, navigating hotel guests who drive the test vehicles. The tours cover scenic routes around Mt. Fuji, focusing on the thrill of “TOUGE” (mountain pass) driving. The guides ensure safe driving, offer interpretation at key spots, and provide attentive hospitality, transforming a four-hour test drive into an unforgettable memory.

Two route options (~130km each):
**Hakone Turnpike (“TOUGE” Sanctuary):** Famous among car enthusiasts worldwide, this route includes pilgrimage spots featured in Japanese anime and offers exhilarating winding roads.
**Fuji Five Lakes & Oshino Hakkai:** A more relaxing route through lakes, springs, and caves around Mt. Fuji, emphasizing natural beauty and tranquility.
The vehicle provided is the limited-edition GRMN Yaris (only 500 units produced in 2022), a model developed specifically for driving performance.
The guided tour is available for 65,000 yen, including highway tolls, parking, and facility fees. Advance online reservation is required.
